with sound interventions and songs in ancient Greek by AimA.
Among the authors: Sappho, Archilochus, Alceo, Anacreonte, Alcmane, Mimnermo, Theognide, Idipo

Estimated duration:  about 60 minutes.

“MYSTIS and AIMA offer seminars on the musicality of language in ancient Greek poetry, reviving Hellenic poetry in the voice and through music as an essential element of the poetic text. It is a challenge to temporal gravity, a body-soul dedication to the interpretation of Greek lyrics through the phoné, which renews the extraordinary vitality of this language and gives us back its phonic-musical imprint.
Listening, in fact, allows to recover the magical efficacy of the language that has the strength of the original life, its absolute value as a living sign in a Hellenic, kaleidoscopic and three-dimensional sound tattoo, at the service of this “renaissance” of the Greek language, enhanced by the presence of music, and singing, completely coexistent in origin.”

Ad hoc readings for wedding events, symposia, wine reviews, corporate events or artistic communication, vernissage.
Mystis and Aima propose dramaturgical reading performances, interpretation, song of texts, sound interventions, from their poetic repertoire or authors of ‘800 and ‘900 particularly suited to the circumstances that will host their performance.
The choice of texts will be agreed with the organizer depending on the type of event.

Projects dedicated to corporate events, specifically, ad hoc readings for wine producers, choice of texts for storytelling related to the brand or for promotion during tasting events.
MYSTIS and AIMA propose poetic-musical performances related to wine in Greek civilization, through the interpretation of a poetic repertoire of Greek lyrics linked to the symposium, wine and vitality fullness that this drink arouses.
However, there are also dramaturgical readings, accompanied by sound interventions, of poetic texts from the 1800s and 1900s dedicated to wine as well as compositions by the protagonists inspired in this sense, by atmospheres connected to it, or poetic in a general sense.
Among the authors: Paul Verlaine, Charles Baudelaire, Rainer Maria Rilke, Antonio Machado, Fernando Pessoa, Jorge Luis Borges, Jacques Prévert, Pablo Neruda.

MYSTIS and AIMA propose poetic-musical performances related to wedding, through the interpretation of a poetic repertoire of Greek lyrics linked to love theme.
The choice of texts will focus on love themes, both ancient and modern, of high literary importance, so that the event in which it is inserted increases its prestige, in the name of the beauty of Poetry and Music.
Alternating with the texts in Italian, with the intention of placing the public even completely fasting in ancient Greek in direct sound contact with the extraordinary vitality of this language to restore its extraordinary phonic-musical imprint, Mystis accompanied by Aima, will interpret the Fragments best known of the Greek operas; Aima will also sing Fragments in ancient Greek accompanied by her instrument, the overtone harp.
However, there are also dramaturgical readings, accompanied by sound interventions, of poetic texts from the 1800s and 1900s dedicated to the theme.

Literary performative actions dedicated to the classical world
for a cultural and emotional enjoyment of archaic places.

Mystis and Aima propose, within particularly important organized trips
from an archaeological and literary point of view:

– Reading of classical authors in the original language and with Italian translation.
– Performative actions with scenic equipment
– Mythological literary presentations

Travel Agencies, Tour Operators, Shipping Companies,
Public or private organisations responsible for promoting the territory both in Italy and abroad.

A. Travel preparations: perceiving the genius loci

By preparatory events, we mean those intended performances
to introduce the traveler to the cultural atmosphere of the place.
The team following the “Mystis kai Aima” project
offers a real show to give voice to the classics.
Literary authors, philosophers and mythologies, the soul of the places (now archaeological sites)
they will be represented in a living scenic evocation.

B. Performance during the trip (cruises)

In a travel route that involves moving by sea, they are provided
performative actions inspired by the peculiar history and literature of the destination places
whose intent is to accompany visitors through a synaesthetic journey
in Myth and among the figures of the Ancient World.

C. Performance on the territory

The performative actions on the territory include a staging both in archaeological sites
as in alternative accommodation facilities that can be chosen in relation to their characteristics and landscape peculiarities, such as: gardens, beaches and particularly suggestive public spaces.
