Thule is a song that tells of the last moment of life of the king of Thule, a highly lyrical moment where the transition mixes with the ecstasy given by the last sip of wine, drunk in a golden cup.
Gerhard Hallstatt (Allerseelen) gave me this text in French and a music that easily introduced me to this lyrical moment.
Like all music by Allerseelen, it always drags me into particular worlds, imbued with images that often refer to deep meanings of life. Thule is a song that expresses a moment of suspension, the “limen” between life and death.
